VISIBILITY

StickStar believes in promoting Texas Lacrosse Players and has put on a variety of events to put eyeballs on the players from this State.  Through events such as the StickStar Showcase / the StickStar Combine, The Texas All Star Round Up, and the Nike National Tryouts we put players in a position to showcase themselves in the hopes of playing at the next level.

NIKE NATIONAL - MAY

The B’More Lax Co. is proud to announce the National All-Star Games, a three-day boys lacrosse experience in Bel Air, Maryland, where the nation’s elite will gather to compete. Teams representing 14 regions will converge to represent the lacrosse battlegrounds that honed their abilities, turning high school and club rivals into teammates and taking America’s premier talent from the neighborhood to the national stage, in front of the eyes of the top college programs.

Boys who, in July 2023, will have just completed their 9th grade (2026), sophomore (2025) or junior (2024) high school season. You must live within the geographic region you are trying out for. If you attend school in a region different from your home (Boarding School guys) you may attend that geographic tryout instead.

texas all star round up

In 2015, StickStar teamed up with Dallas Lacrosse to bring back the Texas All Star Game, dubbed the Texas All Star Round Up.  A statewide All Star Game is difficult to pull off with all the various conflicts that exist, but for 6 Years, StickStar was able to create this environment.

Many of the States top players attended the All Star Round Up including many of the players playing in the College Ranks.  2020 was the last year we held the game but it will resurface, stay tuned for more details.

The All Star Round Up would serve as a highlight for those seniors who end their season with a loss, while, for underclassmen, it also provide an in-state recruiting opportunity as all the games were live-streamed, chronicled, and distributed to coaches at the next level.

Participants of the Texas All Star Round Up include: Owen Seebold (Syracuse), Reed Landin (Duke), Nakeie Montgomery (Duke), Colby Kneese (Penn State), Scott Bower (UVA), Carson Raney (Ohio State)

StickStar Showcase

For 10 Years the StickStar Showcase served as an in house scrimmage, and an opportunity to get all of our players from across the State to the field at once.  With players coming from across the State it served as an opportunity for recruiters to come take a look as it was on the Friday prior to T99.

With several games taking place, a Youth, a Rising, and an Elite game it also showed the consistency of execution from top to Bottom.  In 2019, the final StickStar Showcase was played at SMU's Ford FIeld.  The StickStar Showcase will return in the coming year so please stay tuned for more details!
